Fortunately, Queseon's few words were enough, and the hangars were filled with enthusiasm just as their new leader headed up to the command bridge to carry out his first actions for the good of this galaxy. Previously, Queseon had felt only excitement and embarrassment. Now he felt fear once more as Captain Reyes asked where their first destination was. He sighed softly, folded his crest flat back over his head and said softly, "To Idahria, Captain."

The men gathered in the Frothgar's hangar began to cheer and clap. Queseon heard them begin to chant, "Long Live the Jedi! Long Live the Empire!" They thrust their fists into the air as they chanted and the energy in the hangar bay was one of excitement, Queseon could tell that these Imperials were excited to be under the command of a Jedi.

Captain Reyes led Queseon through a massive network of hallways before they arrived a a turbolift which would take them to the Frothgar's command bridge atop the massive warship. The interior of the Frothgar was constructed of slate grey Durasteel, the only alloy in the known universe that could be used to build such massive warships. The turbolift arrived at the command bridge, Queseon immediately saw Imperials working busily as they prepared to take Jedi Squadron out of orbit of New Coruscant.

"Admiral on deck!" Captain Reyes shouted as Queseon stepped foot onto the bridge. The Imperials snapped to attention. "Welcome to the bridge, Admiral. We await your orders, where shall we go first?"

Out of the viweports to the front of the bridge Queseon could see TIE Fighters flying past and Star Destroyers getting into position within Jedi Squadron.

A man later entered the office. Captain Reyes was his name. Thinking back, Queseon remembered who he was. His assumptions were confirmed a bit later as things progressed. The young Grand Master could only listen as Askaari and Reyes discussed loyalties and such. Because he'd gotten bored rather easily, it only seemed Queseon was listening, but he was already daydreaming of all the planets and people he could save with his new position and force.

Fortunately, he was fully aware when the Emperor rose and gave him a salute. Queseon did not know how to acknowledge this however, so he only stood and gave the Idahrian salute once more and gave a little smile as he waddle off after the Captain, excited to see what the Super Star Destroyer looked like. Queseon guessed it would look like those triangular ships he'd seen before, when he was much, much younger. During the first time this his Empire had met this one.

On the trip towards the shuttle that would take them to the Frothgar, Queseon watched everyone just go by. Captain Reyes was right anyway. He didn't have to do any of the paperwork, and neither his Master nor Anakin had mentioned anything at all about having to do paperwork. With a gulp, Queseon hoped he wouldn't have to do such a thing anytime soon.

As the shuttle went out into space and Queseon saw the ship he'd been given, his expression changed from childish excitement to mild fear. He blinked twice, in total disbelief. That thing was almost as large as Gagra, that planet he'd visited before moving on to Abbidon. Before he could say anything at all regarding the Frothgar, they had docked. At this point, in marvel, Queseon only followed. This was all too much for one of his kind to take. He was the first Idahrian Astelle to gain a position within the Galactic Empire.

And before he knew it, came a little announcement from Captain Reyes, Queseon was asked to give a speech. Unlike his father, Queseon was not eloquent. He never paid much attention to his speech instructor. But now he had to whip up something on the spot. Face suddenly flashing to a bright shade of red, Queseon interlocked his fingers and brought his hands in front of his before bowing shallowly. His crest straightened out and his tail flicked wildly.

"I-I.. It's an honor.. To be serving with you.." Queseon cleared his throat and blinked twice, quickly, "As you can probably tell... I have yet to understand all of th-this.. But I definitely will, if it means making this g-galaxy a safer place. Hopefully all of you can bear with me, and we'll work well together for the gr-greater g-good..." At that, Queseon's face was now a very bright red, and his crest had folded back. He looked up at Reyes and nodded, then turned to the assembled troops and bowed once more before clumsily waddling off. He had a nervous smile on his face he didn't want anyone to see.

An Imperial officer entered the office, he snapped to attention and saluted the Emperor. "Captain Reyes reporting as ordered, Your Highness."

"Ah, Captain please come in and have a seat. I'm sure you've been briefed already?" The Emperor gestured to a seat next to Queseon.

"Yes, Your Highness. I will obey your orders to the letter, Grand Master Queseon is to be in command of Jedi Squadron until such arrangement becomes impractical for the Jedi." The Captain sat down.

"Good, then you understand from this point on you no longer take orders from anyone in the Imperial Navy or Army? You understand that the Council of Grand Moffs cannot give you orders, and most importantly you will no longer take orders from me?" The Emperor asked.

"Yes, Your Highness." The Captain replied.

"Good, your last and final order from me is to escort Grand Master Queseon to the Super Star Destroyer Frothgar. Once Jedi Squadron is prepared to disembark the Port Authority will grant you permission to leave. Safe travels gentlemen, and may the Force be with you." The Emperor stood, Captain Reyes followed suit... but the Emperor saluted Queseon, an honor given to no one. "I, Emperor Ram Askaari of the Galactic Empire, Defender of Freedom and Champion of Justice, and Supreme Commander of the Imperial Armed Forces, hereaby release Jedi Squadron from Imperial service and instate Grand Master Queseon as Vice Admiral and sole commander of Jedi Squadron." The Emperor dropped his salute.

Captain Reyes turned to Queseon, "Grand Master, please follow me."

----

Once they had left the Emperor's office the hallowed halls of the Imperial Palace were no longer as empty as before. The halls were filled to the brim with Imperial Navy personnel frantically going about their duties.

"It's all our fault I suppose." Captain Reyes said to Queseon as they walked. "We've never released an entire fleet from Imperial service, you must be the real deal if the Emperor is pooling all of these resources for you. That's why suddenly there are so many people running about in the palace, there is a lot of paperwork to be done before we can leave... fortunately WE don't have to do any of it."

They soon boarded a shuttle which rocketed them upward and out of New Coruscant's atmosphere, there in orbit they could see Jedi Squadron assembling as a fleet for the first time. Small droids were already stripping the emblems of the Galactic Empire and replacing them with the emblem of the Jedi Order:

The shuttle glided smoothly into the Frothgar's main hangar bay, the ramp descended and Captain Reyes gestured for Queseon to exit.

What seemed like several thousand personnel stood in neat formations in the hangar bay, Stormtroopers and Imperial Navy officers alike awaited the arrival of their new commander.

"Attention to Orders!" Captain Reyes yelled, the formations of men snapped to attention. "Now hear this! By order of His Imperial Majesty and Royal Highness, Emperor Askaari of the Galactic Empire, Defender of Freedom, Champion of Justice, and Supreme Commander of the Imperial Armed Forces; this fleet will henceforth be known as Jedi Squadron! Jedi Squadron has been released from Imperial service, Jedi Grand Master Queseon has been given sole command of Jedi Squadron and given the rank of Vice Admiral!" Captain Reyes turned to Queseon, "Is there anything you wish to say to your men, Sir?"

Queseon was taken aback by the Emperor's sudden peal of laughter. He kept his cool, however. This meeting was going smoothly enough, in his opinion. Queseon simply nodded to this, stifling a little laugh of glee. He was very excited about this, but he was also aware that he couldn't and wouldn't abuse the power he would have, as he was now a Jedi. The hardest part of this journey could well be telling his father that he was going to abdicate from the Idahrian Imperial Family.

Emperor Askaari just stared at Queseon for a moment before he burst into laughter. "All of this and your question was about if you can dress yourself?" Another bout of laughter stopped the Emperor. "Of course you can wear what you want, we're only issuing new uniforms to Jedi Squadron so nobody confuses them for an Imperial force. The Jedi need to be seen as separate from the Imperial Navy. During the last years of the Old Republic in our Origin Galaxy, the Jedi were given command positions within the Army of the Republic, this made them far too vulnerable when Emperor Palpatine gave Order 66 and nearly drove the Jedi to extinction." The Emperor paused for a moment, "But as I said, Jedi Squadron is yours so you may choose different uniforms for them, my only stipulation is they at least look professional and less rag-tag."

Queseon rose from his seat and bowed at his waist, one fist across his chest. "Yes, Your Highness. I'd do anything if it meant I could protect all of the inhabitants of our galaxy." he stated in a firm tone.

He was well aware of how loyal and efficient Imperial Troopers could be, so Queseon could be sure that his plans were working together properly without any interference from external forces. Still on his feet, Queseon took the datapad from Askaari and looked through the uniforms. He began to frown, wondering if there was a strict dress-code for the Jedi. He wanted to be able to wear whatever he wanted. If possible, he wouldn't wear anything at all, as it felt less restricting for him. It wasn't like there was much to see on him anyway. Queseon nodded. He needed to ask about it.

"Yes, Your Highness..." he told Askaari, "Would I be able to choose what I wear?.." he asked rather shyly.

"I'm glad you are willing to accept our aid in your quest, keep in kind that Jedi Squadron is YOURS." The Emperor added extra emphasis on 'YOURS', "They no longer answer to me, if I issue them orders that conflict with yours they will not listen to me. You must understand that Imperials are fiercely loyal to those who have been given command of them. I have given them this authority to deny my orders in the event I become compromised and am a threat to the Jedi Order... I do this on good faith and pray that it does not turn out to be a foolish decision on my behalf, use Jedi Squadron well. From this day forth Jedi Squadron will be a permanent fixture, operating independently of any and all government authorities but funded by the Galactic Empire. Your personnel will be issued uniforms different from Imperial Navy and Army uniforms and your vessels will be branded with the insignia of the Jedi Order. Here," The Emperor handed Queseon a datapad, "this is what the uniforms look like."

The datapad had a long list of different uniforms, but the most notable were the following:

Jedi Troopers (Stormtroopers):

Jedi Navy Uniform:

"Are there any questions?" The Emperor finally asked.

A position within the Galactic Empire... Again, something Queseon never thought he would have. How did he get here, anyway? He stayed silent and seated as things went on. After this, hopefully the Assembly would comply, despite their beliefs and everything.

Queseon nodded to Davis as he entered, indeed noticing his energy. At first, he had only been expecting a regular position in the army or such, but that wasn't what he got. His eyes widened as he listened to what Emperor Askaari said and tilted his head. His crest folded back as he imagined what he'd gotten himself into. This definitely wasn't what he expected when he left Idahria. After months and months of training, a Grand Master already?

Once Davis was gone, Queseon was tempted to deny such a rank, but perhaps there was something more to it. That childish edge of his wanted to see what it was like. He was going to be a leader on Idahria, anyway... This was to him, just another phase. With a sigh, he simply nodded to the Emperor, glancing about the room. He needed to prepare for his return to Idahria, and to his father who had been looking for him for quite a while.

Lost in thought as he thought over his new role, Queseon snapped back to attention when he heard the hiss of the doors behind him and Ensign Davis entered. Just as he thought it was done and he needed to return to his home-world, Queseon was again surprised as he was given his first apprentice. Of course, he wouldn't deny it.

"Y-Yes..." he said softly, crest unfurling again. The Prince now Jedi Grand Master began emitting a faint yet vibrant blue glow as he looked around the room. "I will.." he finished, letting out a soft sigh. He seemed exhausted, and he was, but he wouldn't show too much of it.

Emperor Askaari rubbed his chin in thought as he leaned further back in his chair, "Well, what I can do is give you an official position within the Empire. This would ensure no harm will come to you from your people, if they attempt to execute or sentence you to the dungeon it will be considered an act of war against the Galactic Empire." He pressed a button on his desk and a hologram of an Imperial officer appeared, it was one Queseon had not met, "Get my scribe in here please." He said to the hologram.

"Yes, Your Highness." The Imperial bowed and disappeared. Moments later an Imperial carrying several data pads entered the office and bowed low to both Queseon and Emperor Askaari.

"This is Ensign Davis, he handles all of the menial tasks of my job so I don't have to." The Emperor introduced the man to Queseon. "I'm sure you've sensed it by now, but Ensign Davis is also a Force user. He has not had training as a Jedi and as a result his skills at this point are limited. He actually saved my life the other day when the Undine attempted an invasion of New Coruscant." Queseon could indeed sense that Davis was strong in the Force, but he was neither Dark or Light.. his energy was more neutral than anything. "Ensign, Master Queseon is founding a new Jedi Order. We will construct a Jedi Temple on New Coruscant and will offer to fund the construction of a temple on Idahria if Emperor Gearan accepts. Master Queseon will be my official adviser on all Jedi matters, he will have the rank of Vice Admiral and will be given all honors and benefits of that rank and station. He will be referred to as Jedi Grand Master Queseon and not Admiral, as his Jedi rank supersedes all other titles. Construction on the Super Star Destroyer Frothgar will be complete hopefully today and it will leave the shipyard soon after, I want command of the Frothgar given to Master Queseon as well as an appropriate escort fleet. This fleet will be known henceforth as Jedi Squadron, its resources and manpower will be fully under Master Queseon's command and he will answer ONLY to me. Please assemble the necessary documentation and bring it to us ASAP."

Ensign Davis bowed and left the office at a brisk walk.

"Jedi Squadron will be yours to do with as you wish, use them to further the purpose of the Jedi and to protect your interest of peace and justice in the Galaxy. If you should come into conflict with hostile forces and need reinforcements you will have them, the Galactic Empire is in full support of the Jedi cause. I will compose a message for Emperor Gearan expressing my full support of your decision to follow the path of the Jedi and this Galaxy's dire need for such individuals. If Idahria should turn its back on you, there will always have a place for you in the Empire. Once you have trained enough Masters to begin spreading the Jedi Order further throughout the Galaxy we will fully fund all Jedi operations, this is an important step in the right direction for this Galaxy. For a long time we have had a need for skilled Force users, up until now nobody had the proper training to be of any use." The Emperor went on.

Ensign Davis returned with even more data pads, cradling a large stack in each arm. He began laying them out on the Emperor's desk, who then began signing the documents. After a few minutes they were all signed and Ensign Davis left to transmit the information to the Empire's database for record accounting.

"You're all set now, all you have to do is make your way to the Frothgar and take command, Captain Reyes will be receiving the orders any moment now stating that you will be taking command of the Frothgar. Captain Reyes will serve as your second in command, he is an excellent Captain and has served in the Imperial Navy for thirty years. He will advise you on all military matters, but ultimately he answers to you and you alone. The Frothgar was still under construction when the Undine attacked of course, so it has the latest offensive and defensive capabilities, you will find that Jedi Squadron is capable of handling ANY threats at home and abroad. Aside from the naval power of Jedi Squadron you will have over two hundred thousand Imperial Army personnel at your disposal. As you know, every Imperial Navy ship carries ground forces in the event they are needed... these forces have been proved in battle on numerous occasions and will serve you well." At that moment Ensign Davis returned to the office. "Oh, Ensign Davis?"

"Yes, Your Highness?" Davis stepped closer, his hands folded neatly behind his back at the position of attention.

"You are hereby released from your duties with the Imperial Navy and re-assigned to the Jedi Order. You will be Grand Master Queseon's first apprentice of many, you no longer answer to anyone but Grand Master Queseon. Unless, of course, you don't wish to follow the path of the Jedi?" The Emperor asked.

"Your Highness, it would be my honor to serve under the Grand Master. It has been my dream to learn the ways of the Force from a true Jedi Master and not just a holobook." Ensign Davis responded, obviously forcing himself to not smile and keep a straight face.

"Very well, it is done. Master Queseon, would you accept Davis as your apprentice?" The Emperor asked Queseon.

Abbidon... the lonely planet. - Page 2 Empty Re: Abbidon... the lonely planet.

Post by Idahria 27th March 2015, 2:13 am

"Yes," Queseon said, a look of speculation briefly crossing his face. "That came as strange to me at first. But he said that he could manage, as he lived by the Force each day. He taught me the same things he learned, and I was able to brave the conditions on that planet. I was even able to kill a few of those hideous monsters. I didn't want to have to, but they were threatening to eat me." Queseon explained, hands neatly folded atop his lap. That childish demeanor of his was back again, but his voice sounded different. There was an air of maturity to it, and much of his enthusiasm was restrained.

Mentioning that Queseon had different intentions rather than a simple visit, Queseon nodded. His mild smile disappeared, and he confirmed what the Emperor had assumed. "Yes, your Highness. I would like to begin a new Jedi Order for this Galaxy. After my training with this hermit, he never told me his name, I was made aware of the abilities of my brethren the Astelle and the Acotali. Through this order we could be able to fully protect all the inhabitants of this galaxy." the Prince said. His head was bowed slightly as he spoke.

"However," his tone then changed, becoming grim and somewhat wistful. "the hermit on Abbidon said that as a Jedi... I can no longer be a Prince. Meaning that I must renounce my title. This... On Idahria, is considered a grave act of desertion. I may be sentenced to death by Jadromt, or if my father chooses to be gracious, I could be sent to the freezing dungeons of Cyresti, where many off-planet fugitives are kept."

Despite his obvious discomfort with explaining his place as Prince, Queseon continued. "I fear that no one on Idahria will even want to help me if I renounce my claim to the Imperial throne. However, in order to share with the Astelle and Acotali what I have been taught, I must be alive. I have... A feeling that... The Imperial Council will order my execution. And my father will have no choice but to comply."

Queseon had never thought he'd be doing this, but with a most humble tone he asked slowly looking up, his eyes glimmering like they always did, "I.. Need your help, Emperor Askaari. I would like to begin a Jedi Order... To keep all who live in this Galaxy safe. It's all I ever wanted... If it makes this world even just a tad better, I would do it without hesitation... Even if it may cost me my life. But I cannot die now, without having a word to say to my brethren. Could you kindly ensure that I would be preserved in order to teach my brothers and sisters on Idahria, if I am to be sentenced to death or to a lifetime in the Cyresti dungeons?"

"Interesting how a lone hermit has been able to survive all of those years on such a dangerous planet, I suspect the local wildlife gave you some trouble. Lucky for you that Klingon cruiser you stayed in had bulkheads that were still intact, most Klingon warships were destroyed when the Empire conquered the Klingons. Now, I don't think you came here just to chat... you need something. The Empire has something of a jaded past with the Jedi, but after the fall of Palpatine's New Order our stance towards the Jedi became much more progressive. Jedi were once the keepers of peace in our Origin Galaxy, until Palpatine's Order 66 destroyed the Jedi Order, so I'm sure you understand how important it is to have the support of the Empire if you are to establish a new Jedi Order... seeing as you are the only Force-sensitive in the Galaxy that has received formal Jedi training. That in itself is odd, considering this Galaxy knew nothing of the Jedi until we arrived. So what is it you came here to do?" Queseon could sense Emperor Askaari probing him with the Dark Side, searching for a weakness in his mental defenses, but Queseon was far too disciplined now to allow even an accomplished Sith Lord to penetrate his defense.

Queseon was surprised to see Askaari right before him when he arrived at the transport pad. He did well not showing his shock, however. He bowed shallowly and followed as he was asked.

Now, as he'd always wanted, Queseon had reached New Coruscant at last. It was as he'd imagined, only far more majestic. And at this point, intimidating. He wondered why his father was always uneasy after visiting this planet. He now understood. No building in Noelani was taller than the Imperial Peredain tower. Here, everything was so high up, and Queseon couldn't seem to stop looking upwards.

Later in the office of the Emperor, Queseon took his seat and waited. As he was told by his Master and Anakin Skywalker himself, he needed to get the assistance of Emperor Askaari. Knowing that somehow, he had been found out training all the way on Abbidon, Queseon was again shocked. But he never showed it. He could keep that part of him in now, at least.

"Definitely not, Your Highness." he says, head bowed slightly. "After my expedition to Iodrillon, I decided that I would take the opportunity to explore the world. I found Abbidon, and my ship crashed. There I met a hermit who taught me about the Force... He saw my abilities, and decided he would teach me. I never knew that the Astelle could use this Force.. Until he told me, of course."

As soon as the Idahrian ships were detected five Star Destroyers were sent to escort them through Imperial space.

"Idahrian Royal Escort, you have permission to transport to the surface and your ships have been allotted docking areas in orbit. We are transmitting the details now." An Imperial responded to them on comms, "Welcome to New Coruscant." The Idahrian ships were directed to dock in bay 347 and anyone visiting the Imperial Palace was directed to transport to the surface via transporter pad 28.

---

When Queseon materialized on the transporter pad, and his molecules were back where they were supposed to be, Emperor Askaari was waiting for Queseon. The Emperor looked much older than he did when he met him as a child but he still seemed to be in perfect health. There was one more thing, he could now sense the strong Dark Side presence in the Emperor, or Darth Interitus as Anakin and Telera had told him.

"Prince Queseon of the Idahrian Empire, you are most welcome in my home. Your father has been searching the Galaxy from top to bottom looking for you, But we'll talk more once we can speak alone. Please follow me."

---

An escort of Stormtroopers led the two of them to a large office inside the Imperial Palace, it was Emperor Askaari's personal office where the whole of the Galactic Empire and its military forces were given their orders, this was the most powerful place in the Galaxy. The Emperor took a seat behind his desk and gestured for Queseon to take the chair on the other side of the desk.

"So, you were on Abbidon training to be a Jedi." Askaari paused, "Yes... I knew where you were the entire time. The Galactic Empire's resources are far greater than those of our Idahrian counterparts. What I'm curious about is who trained you? The Empire has had a somewhat sour relationship with Force users in the past and I'm hoping you were not trained by the wrong person."

Abbidon... the lonely planet. - Page 2 Empty Re: Abbidon... the lonely planet.

Post by Idahria 11th March 2015, 9:47 am

Queseon smiled warmly as Telera faded away, nodding and bowing one last time. "Goodbye... Commander. Thank you, for everything."

And at that, Queseon boarded his ship and prepared to leave. He was glad to finally leave this predator infested planet behind, and even more glad that he would see his father once again, after so long. He wondered what it had been like without him around? But that no longer mattered, because he was heading back. His father would be very happy and excited... Until Queseon dropped his title.

That was another problem, indeed. As a Jedi, he could no longer be a Prince. He needed to spend some time in the frozen dungeons of the North. Many dangerous criminals from other planets were brought here to be tortured by the weather alone. They received an adequate amount of food, always, but depending on one's offense, that could change. Queseon took a deep breath again, and set course for Anithea. It was time to go home.

It didn't take long for Queseon's ship to reach his home-system. Sitting in orbit, Queseon stared tearfully at his wonderful home. The blue planet. He was happy to be back, but someone wasn't. From behind, an Idahrian ship made in the shape of a Jadromt had appeared, and had begun to pursue Queseon. The Prince was aware that the Jadromt wasn't going to stop, so he started his ship's engines up again, and fled. Soon, there were two of these mosasaur ships.

Queseon slammed his communicator, but realized that he'd not been able to repair it when he was on Abbidon. For now, he was considered an intruder by the now stricter Idahrian Empire. Since he disappeared, it was harder to enter and leave the planet.

"Since when do we have ships like that?!" Queseon gasped, accelerating, and narrowly avoiding the metal jaws of the Idahrian interceptor. He banked left sharply, behind a small meteorite, losing the larger ships for a moment, before heading directly for Idahria once more. The Jadromt gave chase right away, and finally revealed their laser cannons, mounted on the back and side. They were able to clip the top wing of Queseon's ship, causing him to crash into Idahria.

As his ship spun, Queseon noticed how there were now surface cities on his planet. There were three of them in sight. And the one below, he seemed to be crashing into. Knowing well what could happen if he hit someone, the Prince pulled hard on his navigation stick, causing the ship to stabilize slightly. It was not gliding, leaving a trail of smoke in the night-time air.

Astelle and Acotali below fled for cover as they watched the ship plummet. Hoping he wouldn't die, Queseon took a deep breath and kept his hands firm on the controls. Using a bit of the Force, he raised the nose of his ship, and landed roughly, but safely. Apparently, he had left a large rupture in the ground, but that was hardly a problem. And once sure that he was ready to get off, he left his cockpit, and exited, only to be met by several Idahrian Imperial Soldiers.

"Raise your arms over your head!" yelled one of them, his sonic rifle aimed directly at Queseon's head. The Prince did as he was told, so as not to cause any more trouble.

But the smoke cleared, and the soldiers froze in shock. Suddenly, in a quick movement, they were standing straight, rifles at their sides. The one in the lead placed a hand on his right chest, the Idahrian salute, given exclusively to members of the Imperial Line. Queseon gave the salute back. And around him, Astelle and Acotali gathered, rejoicing at seeing their Prince again. His clothing was messy, and his glowing body was covered in smudges of what seemed to be dirt. But they didn't care. All that mattered was that their Prince was back!

Hours later, Minister Hekso, third in position after Queseon and Gaeran Peredain was on the surface city, after hearing of the news. He loved Queseon, and treated him as a son. Hekso was not blessed with a child of his own, but was a good second father to the Prince, educating and guiding him when his father was not present. The two Astelle embraced right away upon seeing each other. The Minister didn't seem to mind that Queseon looked dirty.

"Where have you been, little one? Your father has been so worried... Right now, he is away... He and many others are confronting a large force that could threaten our entire galaxy." said the Minister with concern, wiping some mud off of Queseon's cheek.

Now Queseon was worried. Could this force be the enemy that Telera and Anakin had warned him of? Most likely. It was rather early. What if he was indeed thrown into the frozen dungeons?

"Uncle..." Queseon spoke softly, "I must see Emperor Askaari, immediately. It's very important. While I was away, I learned something... You mustn't tell my father that I'm going there. I will see him myself. Don't tell anyone else about my arrival... Please."

Hekso looked around, wondering what this was about. He frowned at the Prince, sighed and shook his head. "Alright. I will not tell." he promised, raising one hand and winking.

Queseon gave his Uncle a hug again, before being brought away to be cleaned and prepared for a short journey to New Coruscant. He received a new ship, and was escorted by the Imperial Guard. Later on, they were in orbit in New Coruscant, asking to be allowed access.

"I am one with the Force, and the Force will always be there to guide you. The fate of the Galaxy is in your hands Queseon, it was expected that you would take decades to learn the skills you need... but you did it in far less time. If there were a Jedi prophecy for this Galaxy I'm sure it would mention you as some sort of savior. But don't let my words lead you to be arrogant, that will lead you to the Dark Side. It will be more dangerous for you being young, the Dark Side influences the young much easier. You may have all of these abilities but they will mean nothing if you become a Sith or worse. My time in this world has expired and I must leave, but I will be with you. May the Force be with you." Telera slowly faded until there was nothing left and Queseon was now truly alone in his quest, this was when the task of the Jedi was officially passed to him... but his first task was to secure the support of Emperor Askaari, or Darth Interitus.

It wasn't exactly what he wanted to hear, but it was good enough. Queseon smiled, gave a sigh of relief, and nodded as Anakin faded away and he was transported back to his physical body. A look of satisfaction came to the Prince's face as he regained control of his body once more, and gave a smile across to Telera. He rose, placed a fist against the right side of his chest, and bowed in gratitude. He was in disbelief, hearing Telera mention that he was the first living Jedi to visit this "beyond".

"Of course... Master." he said more enthusiastically, and laughed.

Indeed, after his training, Queseon learned even more and became stronger than he already was. Between training times, he was able to find parts to attach to his fallen ship. The Sheridanian ship survived, mostly. The lower hull received the most damage, along with one engine. It could be easily fixed, in Queseon's eyes. He was never frustrated, and worked with much focus.

When the time came that Queseon finally had to leave Abbidon, he felt happy, not only because he would see his father again, but because he was now a Jedi, and was able to more closely feel his mother about him now that he understood the Force a bit more. He could feel her guiding him, smiling at him, urging him on, and giving him strength.

The Idahrian Prince now stood before his ship, helmet under his arm. It looked awful, but was capable of flying. He turned around to face his Master, smiling wistfully.

"Will I see you again, Master?" he asked softly, feeling a tinge of sadness, but not showing it.

(OOC: Is Queseon able to use all of those Force Powers?)

Anakin rubbed his chin thoughtfully for a moment before responding. "You may tell your father that you must do it for the sake of the entire Galaxy. You may NOT tell him that he has been being influenced by the Dark Side without his knowledge for two decades, his reaction to such news would not be in your best interest. The Dark Side will react and take control of the rest of his mind, a defense mechanism of sorts, it will purge what was once your father and he will be beyond saving. Tell him of course that all Astelle can become powerful Jedi and servants for good, that Idahria will play a pivotal role in the years to come, but he must never know of the Dark Side's hold over him. When Darth Interitus is turned from the Dark Side, the hold on your father will be released... at which time your father will realize the sudden change in his thought patterns." Anakin began to fade, "My time with you has ended, Queseon of the Jedi. Be vigilant, stay strong, and above all else have faith in the Force." Queseon's vision began to go black and he felt as though he were falling at an incredible speed. He realized he was in space and could see stars passing him. Below him he could see Abbidon quickly coming in to view below him, he passed through the atmosphere and saw his body sitting across from his master, Telera. He fell into his body and snapped back to consciousness.

"Well done Queseon, it is remarkable you were able to visit the beyond since you are the first living Jedi to do so. We must continue with your training now." Telera told Queseon.

Many months passed as Queseon grew stronger in his abilities, he became disciplined in the Force and emotion was no longer an obstacle for him. He had made peace with everything and understood the balance, the emotional child that was once Queseon was no more. He was now a full fledged Jedi, ready to tackle whatever challenges life would now throw at him.

This was definitely not an ideal situation. But Queseon had committed, and he was not one to forget his promises. Surely this is what his mother would want. If her little Prince wanted to be a Jedi, then he could, if it meant good for the Galaxy. True, in fact, Queseon felt more calm and satisfied, seeing his mother smiling down on him and telling him to go ahead and save the Galaxy.

The Prince nodded, smiling. "I'll do it..." he told Anakin with little hesitation. With this, the reign of the Peredain Imperial line would have to last longer, as there was no more heir. That was, unless Emperor Gaeran allowed for an exception. This was indeed something that Queseon would still have to find out. It was a painful thought, and Queseon really did not want to displease his father. But it simply had to be done. He was a Jedi now. A Prince at heart, but a Prince no more.

At this point, it was better to look at the bright side. He was doing this to help Emperor Askaari from turning to the Dark Side, to which he had been accustomed. If that happened, Emperor Gaeran, his own father, would be safe as well. And really, that was all Queseon wanted. According to Darth Vader, love was a deceptive thing. But to Queseon and inside him, it was most powerful. He knew that even if his father was forced to throw him into the icy dungeons of Cyresti, he would still love him and quickly forgive him. You couldn't blame someone for doing their duties.

And one last thing.. He needed to know.. His father needed to be aware of why his son was doing this. It could really help.. Queseon gathered up some courage before asking, "Is my father allowed to know why I am doing this? I just... I want him to know, and understand why I have to do this..."

"Then that is what must happen, you father will not sentence you to death and the Empire will not allow such a rare thing like a Jedi to be killed. At this moment in time it would be wise to align yourself with the Empire, you will need their support and resources to expand the Jedi influence. If you can get close enough to Emperor Askaari, you may be able to turn him from the Dark Side. Emperor Askaari, or Darth Interitus, has no ill will towards the Jedi and is a more progressive Sith. He will not harm you unless he sees you as a threat. You must feign ignorance of his true nature but keep a close watch on him. If you renounce your title, you will surely spend time in the frozen dungeon. During this time you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of the Force through meditation, through this you will survive the harsh conditions and poor food with ease. Isolation is a Jedi's tool for advancement, you'll find that your time in the frozen dungeon is anything but miserable. Darth Interitus has spies inside the Idahrian government, he would quickly learn if you were imprisoned or sentenced to death and would act quickly to protect you." Anakin explained.

"You must learn to stop questioning the will of the Force, it as knowledge and experience beyond your comprehension, it can see the whole of time and space. You or I could never fully understand the Force."

Abbidon... the lonely planet. - Page 2 Empty Re: Abbidon... the lonely planet.

Prince Queseon was quite fine with most of what Anakin was telling him, except for that part regarding his place in the Idahrian Imperial Family. He gasped, eyes wide, looking up. He was the last hope? But how could he renounce his claim to the Throne? He would be treated as a traitor, like many of his predecessors were. They decided to migrate to other planets and were forgotten as deserters.

Queseon began to stutter as he tried to see if an exception could be made. "I-I... Have to stop being a Prince?.." he gulped, "That's.. I.. Can't do that.. Dropping my title as Prince is just as bad as attempting to assassinate my father! I could be sentenced to years in the frozen dungeons!"

And how could he serve the Jedi cause if he was locked up and left to freeze over? His father tolerated many things, but such an action was an ancient law, and all Emperors and members of the family that thought it was better to live a life away from his responsibilities was punished terribly. One could not stop being a member of the Imperial family unless he was dead.

He wanted to fight for the Light Side, but unless he was planning to leave Idahria for good, he could not quit his position as Prince. It just wasn't right. If his father had heard that Queseon was even considering this, he would be furious.

"Little scrap? Oh! The memory, no, that wasn't me. That was only a conveniently worded memory chosen to show you how even those consumed by evil can turn back to good. Every religion had both truth and fiction, it is our job to decide the difference.

"You want to know how to teach your people but you have not yet completed your training. When your training is complete you'll know how to train your people, I'd recommend starting with a hundred Padawan. These first hundred will become masters and train their own Padawan when they are ready, your people have been using the Force on a daily basis since birth so training them will be much easier than training any other species in this galaxy. It is absolutely vital that you be strict with your training, you must assess those that wish to become Jedi, I cannot guarantee that all Astelle will accept this knowledge. If you feel an applicant has even the smallest fraction of ill will or malicious intent in their pursuit of Jedi knowledge, you will not train them. Sith have been born from Jedi training academies, Jedi turn to the Dark Side all the time and not everyone can be turned back to the Light. Those that turn to the Dark Side of their own free will cannot be brought back to the Light, those that give themselves completely to the Dark Side have been completely consumed by the Dark. Those, like me, that are manipulated and believe they are doing necessary evil to save the ones they love can be brought back. In other words, if one does bad things for a good result there is still enough good in them to return to the Light.

"You will have to eventually fight some of your own people, those that turn to the Dark. You will lose Astelle along the way and you will be sad at times, but if you do not do as you have been instructed your entire race will burn and die along with the entire galaxy. Remember this always, for this is the Jedi Code by which all Jedi MUST live:

Jedi are the guardians of peace in the galaxy.
Jedi use their powers to defend and protect, never to attack others.
Jedi respect all life, in any form.
Jedi serve others, rather than rule over them, for the good of the galaxy.
Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge and training.

"I'll explain the code in further detail. You can no longer serve only Idahria's interests, you must serve the interest of the entire galaxy. This means that if the decision came to sacrifice Idahria to save the galaxy you would have to make that decision. I'm not saying that's going to happen but it's a good example. You will only use your skills as a Jedi to defend yourself and others, you will not kill unless you absolutely must. This may be hard for you but it is necessary, you must renounce your claim to the Idahrian throne and cease being a Prince. You will become a servant of the people of this galaxy, you may live and consort with whom you wish, but you will hold no authority over those you will be sworn to serve. Your life will be lived in the constant pursuit of knowledge and wisdom, living and breathing for the cause of good in all corners of the galaxy. You are our last hope, can we count on you?" Anakin finished his lecture with a question, giving Queseon a moment to think.

Abbidon... the lonely planet. - Page 2 Empty Re: Abbidon... the lonely planet.

Post by Idahria 28th February 2015, 2:49 am

Emperor Palpatine... Queseon had heard his name first from Telera. He had ordered for the destruction of the Jedi Order. Back then, the Idahrian Prince understood very little, and believed even less. But later knowing that Telera's father could drag Emperor Gaeran down a path of darkness, Queseon knew what he had to do. Driven by his love for his father and his brethren, he decided to join the Jedi. Though clearly his motives had changed, and so had his understanding of the Force.

Even still, according to this man, Anakin, those who have gone down the path of the Dark Side could still be helped. In truth, Queseon doubted that his father would even join the Dark Side to begin with. The Prince took another deep breath like he always did, so as to regain his composure, and looked up at Skywalker with a look of deep determination in his eyes.

"I now understand... Master Skywalker." he said and bowed his head, before tipping his head back again, crest unfurled. "I apologize for having misunderstood you... During our little scrap earlier."

"I will do my best to keep the balance in the Force." Queseon nodded. Then came the time to ask questions. The Prince looked to his side, frowning. There were many answers he needed, but he could only ask for a few.

"How do I teach the Astelle and the Acotali?.. I-I mean... Where do I begin? You see, they have beliefs... Beliefs that were taught to them by many previous generations. They have no idea of what the Force is... Everyone on Idahria with a mind and soul believes that the Goddess of the Eternal Frost, Noelani, left with us her power to protect our homeplanet."

Then he looked torn, as if hesitant to ask, but he did. "And lastly... May I tell my father?" Queseon knew what he had been taught by Telera. He wouldn't forget. But he simply needed to let his father know. If what he'd seen in that vision about a day ago could happen, then it was better to find a way to stop it as early as possible. If he could, Queseon would even help Emperor Askaari to turn from the Dark Side..

"That is why you are here. You must understand that there is a balance between good and evil that must be preserved, that was the mission of the Jedi. The Sith wanted more power and naturally the Jedi enforced the balance through devastating wars that scarred our galaxy and desensitized its people. I was born through pure will of the Force, this will had been bent to the desires of a mad Sith known as Darth Sidious, or Emperor Palpatine of the first Galactic Empire. I'm getting ahead of myself, I need to tell you about Midichlorians first.

"Midichlorians are intelligent microscopic life forms that live symbiotically inside the cells of all living things. When present in sufficient numbers, they allow their host to detect the pervasive energy field known as the Force. Some species naturally have higher concentrations, in some species only a few have high concentrations. You have a high concentration of Midichlorians, your Master Telera, Emperor Askaari, your father, and all Astelle. But I'll talk more of that later.

"Darth Sidious had learned how to influence Midichlorians to create life, this is how I came to be. Essentially, Darth Sidious was my father and I did not know this until I came here. He used a Jedi prophecy of The Chosen One to secretly get me, without even my knowledge, deep inside the ranks of the Jedi Council. He manipulated my visions and led me down a horrible path, he gave Order 66 and I led the newborn Galactic Empire in the complete destruction of the Jedi Order. My wife, Padme, had died despite my best efforts to save her. Turning to the Dark Side was what caused her death, as a wise man once said: 'One often meets his fate on the path he takes to avoid it.' I want you to remember what I say Queseon, you are like me. Those that are powerful in the Force are more likely to shift to the Dark Side and be influenced by it, you must always keep the little things in mind. Never let the big picture blind you. It turned out, my two children who I had thought to be dead, turned up. They were members of the rebellion I was fighting to put down."
Anakin laughed. "Leia and Luke, they both became Jedi and had children. My son, Luke, brought me back to the Light Side and I destroyed Darth Sidious. Those that have turned to evil are not always stuck being evil, some can return.

"So, back to the Astelle. You are the single most important Jedi to ever live in this galaxy. You have been chosen by the Force to lead your people to the path of the Jedi. All of your people have the gift, but none of them have been given our comprehensive training and conditioning. You will be responsible for teaching your people the ways of the Force, you must do this because dark times are coming. The fate of the entire galaxy is in your hands. Also, if you have any questions make them quick because this connection uses a lot of energy."

Abbidon... the lonely planet. - Page 2 Empty Re: Abbidon... the lonely planet.

Post by Idahria 27th February 2015, 2:40 pm

After slicing off his adversary's wrist, Queseon thought that might have worked, though clearly it didn't. He saw the sparks and was caught in shock. He froze a moment, and that was a mistake. He heard what Vader said as he was spacing out, but could not react. There was still a lot he had to learn. He would have asked a question, but in an instant, everything went white, and Queseon was somewhere else again. He blinked twice, but there wasn't a difference.

The Prince looked at his hands, then back into the light. Now there was somebody in front of him. He hopped back one foot, crouched, and hissed. But he quickly realized that this was no enemy. The robes were familiar to him by now. As the man explained, Queseon understood a bit more. Though he was not sure why he needed to visit the afterlife.

A look of shock appeared on his face upon hearing the name however. He gasped,"I knew it! I saw! You were a Jedi before!.." then he frowned and asked, "But.. What are you.. Why are you here?"
